H1N1 Virus in Pets!!

Helloooooo

   Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much for all of you that subscribed to my blog. I know it took me awhile to write a new post but things are crazy lately, between the PR meetings, my new friends, answering such lovely emails and the wall papers to create and send to my new BEST friends......

   I'm feeling a bit sick today cuz I took the wrong road and stole some food for humans here at home. The truth is that I can't stand dog food, snacks are okay, but dog food is so plain! And my mommy and my nana and everybody I thought were with me no matter what, turned against me, I can not even eat chocolate , CHOCOLATE! The worse in all this is that even my own body is now against me.

   Seems like the Mia Farrison's Personal days of Hell aren't over. Snif. Well, since the subject today seems to be pet's health and good care  I thought about sharing some scary info Dr. Jon sent me yesterday. Remember that virus that has being scaring humans lately? The H1N1....Yah, it looks like it decided that animals are good victims too.

   This ugly virus attacked a pet and it has being confirmed this week. The victim is a 13 years old cat from Iowa. To check the original news, click here.
Dr. Jon gave some good advices and  decided to put it here for you guys:

- If you (human) are sick, see your doctor;
- If your pet is showing some problems, go to the vet;
- Wash your hands before handling your pet, especially if you were out;
- Do not expose your pet to a sick animal;
- Cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough;
- Toss your soiled tissues in a covered waste bin;
- Use commom sense.

Good preventative measures can help keep you and your pets healthy.
